  • Apartment Living
As a company based in two major US cities (Philadelphia and New York) we can definitely empathize with smaller scale living. With kitchen islands triple timing as counter space, food prep and dining surface, many do not need nor have room for a traditional, long dining table. A round dining table with 4-6 seat capacity may be the perfect addition to a smaller scale dining space or eat-in kitchen
  • Elevate
Round dining tables are not exclusively for the breakfast nook or casual in-kitchen dining. If you’re searching for that upscale feel but want to skip the traditional dining vibe, a round dining table can easily be dressed up or down depending on the styling. Pair a sleek, minimal table with luxe dining chairs, textured curtains and an ornamental light fixture to instantly elevate a space without the traditional feel.

  • Let’s Talk Space
We already spoke about the space-saving ability of a round dining table, but not about de-cluttering the look. For example, pairing a thick-based dining table with leggy dining chairs generates visual interest without appearing too cluttered. On the other hand, combining a table with more negative space in the base with similar chairs may be visually distracting and your pieces will be lost in the shuffle.
  • Choosing a Rug
Rugs can be an excellent tool to create separation between the dining area and living space in an open concept. They can also help to elevate the dining space, but choosing the right one can be a bit tricky. The goal is to have your chairs slide in and out easily. Add 24”-30” on each side of the table to ensure no snags occur. This means an 8’ round or square rug can accommodate a 42”-48” table, and a 9’ round or square rug would fit nicely around a 60” round table.
